PRAC

The Planning Review and Adjustment Committee (PRAC) is an eight member Committee that will carry out the necessary advisory and decision-making functions related to planning and development, as specified in the Community Planning Act.

PRAC decisions and recommendations on applications and development matters are guided by the requirements of the Community Planning Act, and the regulations and by-laws adopted under it (i.e. Provincial Subdivision Regulation, Provincial Building Regulations, and Rural Plans).

Members appointed to the PRAC are considered to be “at-large” members that give due care and attention in their decision-making and recommendations as it applies to all areas covered by the PRAC.

The regular term of office for members of the PRAC shall be four years; members may be re-appointed for two additional four-year terms.

Members Expenses

Members' per diems and travel expenses are provided in the Fundy Regional Service Commission's annual reports.
