Garbage Collection Information
The Fundy Region Solid Waste Commission is responsible for Crane Mountain Landfill as well as the recycling and compost programs in Greater Saint John. The Commission does not handle waste pick-up.
Each community is responsible for collection. To determine waste and compost collection in your area, look below.
Saint John
Collection of waste and compost is bi-weekly or weekly.
Check www.saintjohn.ca or 658-4455 for schedules.
Large items: Call 658-4455 to schedule a pick-up. Maximum of two collections per year. Limit of items per pick-up.
White Goods: Drop off on May 5th and 12th, and October 6 and 13, 2012. Maximum 5 items per year. You must call 658-4455 to register
Town of Rothesay
Collection is by FeroDominion. Check www.rothesay.ca or info@fero.ca or 633-8986
Large items: Place large items at curbside for pick up by 7am on May 14th 2012.
No white goods accepted.
Town of Quispamsis
Residents must hire their own waste hauler.

Large items: Call your waste hauler to schedule a pick-up. Limit of 3 items each time.
Town of Grand Bay-Westfield
Many residents bring their waste directly to the landfill. Blue Bin recycling and a compost drop off are on site at the Public Drop Off near the Scalehouse.
Note: One bag of compost is free with each bag of garbage brought in.
Town of Hampton

Large items and White Goods (fridges, stoves etc): Contact Town Office at 832- 6065 to schedule a collection.
Village of St Martins
Collection is by Trius Disposal. Contact 1-800-561-0024 or www.triusgroup.com
Large items: Spring Clean Up June 11th 2012. White Goods only June 13 2012. Contact the Village office at 833-2010
